Centering pregnancy

You are invited to join the centering pregnancy group. The group has 8-12 mothers (to be) who are due around the same time as you.

There are 10 meetings from 2 hours planned during your pregnancy.

Every meeting there will be time for check ups of blood pressure, weight and the baby. Your parter is welcome during this part of the meeting. He/she is also welcome to join some of the meetings. After the check up we will talk about being pregnant, birth and babies. There’s also time to meet up with the other women and get to know each other better.

2 midwives will guide the meetings. We will talk about a lot of different subjects concerning pregnancy, family life and being a mom.

The meetings will give you more confidence concerning yourself, the pregnancy, birth and your role as a mom.

We hope that by being part of the group you will learn to know the other women well and that you will share this special period in your live with each other. It can be the start of a lifelong friendship. Your partner or other people who support you during pregnancy are welcome during some of the meetings. If it’s not your first child and you already have children we ask you not to bring them to the meetings. We don’t have room to take care of them.
