Copper IUD

The copper IUD is a very reliable form of contraception without hormones. The side effects are minimal and the chance of pregnancy is virtually nil (reliability> 99%).

The copper IUD has a T-shape and is made of plastic and copper. The IUD releases a small amount of copper in a very dosed manner. Copper makes sperm cells inactive. As a result, there is no monthly fertilization.
The T-Safe is inserted into the uterus with an introducer sheath. After placement you are immediately protected against pregnancy.
